Panna PDF — Privacy Policy
How Panna PDF collects, uses, and protects your data.

The short version
Panna PDF collects no data. There is nothing behind this app — no server, no account system, no analytics. Every PDF operation happens on your phone, and your files never leave it.
What we collect
Nothing.
- No personal data. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, device identifiers, or anything else about you.
- No files. Your PDFs and images are processed entirely on your device. They are never uploaded, transmitted, or seen by us — the app has no server to send them to.
- No usage data. There are no analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising libraries in the app.
- No accounts. The app has no sign-up or login of any kind.
This is why the app's Google Play Data safety section says "No data collected" and its Apple privacy label says "Data Not Collected". Those statements are literally true.
How the app accesses your files
Panna PDF only sees files you explicitly hand it:
- Document picker — when you choose a PDF to merge, split, rotate, or compress, the system file picker gives the app access to that file only.
- Photo picker — when you use Images → PDF, the system photo picker gives the app access to the photos you selected, and nothing else.
- Share sheet / "Open with" — when you send a file to Panna PDF from another app, the app receives that file only.
The app cannot browse your storage or photo library on its own, and it requests no broad storage permissions. Your original files are never modified; every operation writes a new file that stays on your device until you delete or share it.
What stays on your device
The app keeps a small amount of data locally, on your phone only:
- Recent files list — references to files you recently worked on, plus cached page thumbnails, so you can get back to them quickly.
- Working copies — when you pick a file, the system picker hands the app a temporary copy in the app's private cache. These copies are cleaned up automatically after an operation and are also removed by Delete all data.
- Settings — your preferences (for example, language and theme).
None of this leaves your device. On Android, the app additionally opts out of the operating system's automatic app-data backup, so its files are never copied into your Google cloud backup. On iOS, your device's own iCloud backup may include the app's files if you have device backups enabled — that backup belongs to you and never passes through us. You can erase all of it at any time with Settings → Delete all data inside the app, or by uninstalling the app.
Children
Panna PDF is a general-purpose utility, not directed at children. Since the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.
Third parties
There are none. The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking components, and shares data with no one.
Changes to this notice
If a future version of the app ever changes how it handles data, we will update this notice before that version ships and change the effective date above. Given the app's design — no network features at all — we do not expect this.
