Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to use Qriya?
No. Qriya has no accounts and no sign-in of any kind — scan or create QR codes right away.
Does Qriya upload what I scan or create?
No. Qriya makes no network connections at all. Everything — scanning, creating, styling, and history — happens entirely on your device.
Will Qriya open a link automatically when I scan it?
No. Qriya always shows you the full address first, with clear warnings for insecure or suspicious-looking links. Nothing opens until you tap Open.
Can Qriya process a UPI payment?
No. Qriya only generates and reads standard UPI QR codes — it does not process payments and never connects to any bank, UPI app, or payment network. The actual payment happens entirely in whichever UPI app you choose.
Where is my scan history stored?
On your device only, in a local database. You can delete individual items or everything at once with Settings → "Delete all data". Uninstalling the app removes it too.
Is Qriya available in Hindi?
Yes — Qriya works in English and Hindi (हिन्दी), with dark mode included.
