Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account to use Undivided?
No. Undivided has no accounts and no sign-in of any kind — start a focus session right away.

Does Undivided upload my sessions, projects, or notes anywhere?
No. Undivided makes no network requests at all. Every project, tag, preset, session, and note you create is stored only on your device.

What happens if I background the app or it gets closed mid-session?
Your session keeps timing correctly. Undivided recomputes the remaining or elapsed time from when the session actually started, not from a running in-app timer — so backgrounding or closing the app doesn't lose or distort your time.

Does Undivided have streaks or goal-pressure mechanics?
No. Undivided is deliberately streak-free — there's no "broken chain" and nothing to lose by missing a day. Your history only ever adds up.

Where is my data stored, and how do I delete it?
Only on your device, in local storage. Settings → "Delete all data" removes everything the app has stored at any time. Uninstalling the app removes everything too.
