Who we are

Emberling is a self-care companion app and a product of CloudServe Apps, a division of RAMSIO CLOUDSERVE INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN: U62091KA2025PTC210162), Registered Office: #36, WeWork Prestige Central, Infantry Road, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560001, India ("CloudServe," "we," "us").

Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using Emberling, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Emberling is

Emberling is a wellness companion app: a warm check-in ritual, small self-care tasks, a wind-down flow, and a gratitude journal, represented by a growing on-screen character. Emberling is a self-care companion, not medical care. It does not diagnose, treat, monitor, or provide clinical, medical, or mental-health services of any kind. If you are in crisis or need real support, Emberling's in-app support screen lists real regional helplines — please use them; the app itself is not a substitute for professional help.

License to use the app

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Emberling on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or create derivative works from the app, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits.

Your content

Everything you create in Emberling — check-ins, hearth tasks, journal entries, and preferences — is stored locally on your device. You own that content. We never receive it, store it on our servers, or have any server to store it on. If you create a backup file (Settings → "Save a backup file"), that file is yours; where you save or share it is entirely your choice. See the Privacy Policy for the full data-handling explanation.

Emberling Plus (subscriptions and one-time purchases)

Emberling's core experience is free, permanently — nothing you already have is ever paywalled after the fact. Emberling Plus is an optional purchase (annual subscription, monthly subscription, or one-time lifetime purchase) that unlocks additional warmth tints and future content packs.

• Billing: all purchases are processed and billed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play, under their respective terms (Apple's Media Services Terms, Google's Play Terms of Service). We never see or handle your payment details directly.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel anytime via your Apple ID subscription settings or Google Play subscription settings — links are also provided in-app (Settings → "Manage subscription").
• Trials: where a free trial is offered by the store, its exact terms (length, eligibility) are set and displayed by Apple or Google at the point of purchase.
• Refunds: refund requests are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own refund policies — we cannot issue refunds directly.
• Price honesty: prices shown in the app are the real prices for the term shown, with no hidden fees, toggle-paywalls, or fake urgency.

Prohibited uses

You agree not to: use Emberling for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app's infrastructure; interfere with the app's operation; or use the app in a way that could harm, disable, or impair it for other users.

No warranty

Emberling is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific needs.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CloudServe Apps and RAMSIO CLOUDSERVE INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Emberling.

Termination

You may stop using Emberling at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the app, in whole or part, at any time; if we do, any active Emberling Plus subscription remains governed by the applicable store's own cancellation/refund terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date, and, where required by law or store policy, communicated in-app.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
