Privacy, honestly: Emberling has no accounts and no sign-in. Your check-ins, tasks, journal entries, and preferences stay on your device. There is no analytics or tracking SDK in this app, and no ads — not now, not later. You can back up your data to a file whenever you choose, and delete everything on your device at any time from Settings.
A note on support: Emberling is a self-care companion, not medical care. Its support screen lists real crisis helplines for moments that need more than an app — because knowing where to turn matters more than any feature.
Key Features
Data Safety
Emberling has no accounts and collects no personal data. In its current pre-launch build (RevenueCat purchase keys not yet configured), the app makes zero network calls and generates no purchase-related data. Once configured for store submission, the declared collection becomes: Purchase History only, collected for App Functionality (to unlock Emberling Plus) — not linked to identity (RevenueCat receives only an anonymous, app-generated identifier, never a name, email, or account) and not used for tracking or advertising. No location, contacts, analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising-identifier data is collected in either state, and there is no analytics or crash-reporting SDK in the app. Purchase-verification traffic to RevenueCat/Play Billing is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Emberling has no account to delete; all on-device data (check-ins, tasks, journal entries, preferences) can be fully erased at any time via Settings → "Delete all data."
