Orbio — Terms of Service
The terms of service governing use of Orbio.

By creating an Orbio account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Orbio.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Orbio. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use Orbio with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
2. Your account
- You need an email-based account (via Clerk) to use Orbio; biometric sign-in (Face ID / Touch ID) is available once you've signed in
- You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law
3. What Orbio does
Orbio is a chat client that relays your messages to third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, fal.ai) and returns their responses, saving your conversation history to your account. See the Privacy Policy for exactly how your messages are handled, including under "Bring Your Own Keys."
4. Subscription, billing & the free tier
4.1 Free tier
The free tier includes a monthly message allowance (currently 50 messages/month, enforced by our backend) across two entry-level models (currently GPT-4o Mini and Gemini 1.5 Flash). This limit resets monthly and may change as the app evolves — the current limit and your remaining messages are always shown in the app.
4.2 Pro subscription
Pro removes the monthly message limit, unlocks all available models and the multi-model Compare view, and enables Bring Your Own Keys. Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play — exact current pricing and terms are shown in the app's paywall before you purchase.
4.3 Billing & auto-renewal
Subscriptions are billed and auto-renew through your Apple ID or Google Play account until cancelled. Manage or cancel any time in your device's subscription settings.
4.4 Refunds
Refunds are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own refund policies; we cannot issue refunds directly.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Orbio to generate content that is illegal, that infringes third-party intellectual-property rights, or that depicts child sexual abuse material, hate speech, or harassment
- Use Orbio to impersonate a real person or organisation, or to generate deceptive or fraudulent content
- Attempt to bypass the free-tier message limit, rate limits, or any access control
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the app's source code except where law expressly permits
- Submit another person's API key without their authorisation, or share your account credentials
We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this section.
6. AI-generated content — read this before you rely on anything Orbio produces
- AI responses (text or image) may be inaccurate, incomplete, or entirely fabricated ("hallucinated"). Verify anything important — especially facts, code, medical, legal, or financial content — before relying on it.
- Generated images (Flux, DALL-E 3) are not guaranteed to be free of similarity to existing trademarks or copyrighted works. Clear any output before commercial use.
- Orbio is a relay to third-party AI models; we do not control, and are not responsible for, the content those models generate.
- Content you send is subject to each provider's own usage policies in addition to these Terms.
7. Your content
You own the prompts you write and, subject to §6, the outputs Orbio returns to you. You grant us a licence to store and process your conversations solely to operate the app for you — that is, so your history is there when you come back.
8. Service availability
Orbio depends on third-party AI providers that may experience outages, rate limits, or price changes outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to any specific model.
9. No warranty
Orbio is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of Orbio is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time (Account → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your data is deleted per the Privacy Policy's retention section.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and, where required by law or store policy, communicated in-app.
