About Orbio
Accounts & privacy, honestly: Orbio requires an email-based account because your conversation history is a core part of the app. Every message you send — and every response you receive — passes through Orbio's own servers and is saved to your account, so it's there when you come back. This is true even with Bring Your Own Keys turned on: BYOK changes which API key is billed by the AI provider for that message, not whether Orbio's backend sees or stores your conversation. If you want your data gone, Account → Delete Account removes your account and everything tied to it immediately.
Key Features
Data Safety
Orbio collects real personal data — an accounts-based AI chat app, not an on-device utility. It requires an email-based Clerk account; account data (email, optional name, subscription tier) and the full text of every conversation (messages, model/provider selection, system prompts) are stored server-side in Orbio's own Postgres database, since conversation history is a core feature. Messages are always relayed through Orbio's backend to the selected third-party AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or fal.ai) — this remains true even for Pro users who enable "Bring Your Own Keys," which changes only which API key is billed for the request, not whether Orbio's backend sees or stores the message. Pro users' own stored provider API keys are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). Subscription/entitlement data is synced via RevenueCat from native App Store/Play Store billing — Orbio never sees payment card details. Product analytics (PostHog) and crash reports (Sentry, with auth headers/emails scrubbed) are collected by default but can be disabled in Settings → Privacy & Data, and iOS additionally gates analytics behind the App Tracking Transparency prompt. Account deletion (Account → Delete Account) permanently removes the user record and, via database cascade, all conversations, messages, files, usage history, and stored API keys; the in-app data-export feature currently returns account/subscription data only, not conversation history — a gap flagged for review. This entry has not yet been through Apple/Google's formal Privacy Nutrition Label / Data Safety declaration process, and RevenueCat/store products are not yet configured (development-only keys), so the app is not yet purchasable.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Orbio?
GPT-4o, Claude, and Gemini in one chat app — so you don't need three separate subscriptions to get the answer you want.
What platforms is Orbio available on?
Orbio is built for iOS and Android.
How much does Orbio cost?
Free tier: a monthly message allowance (currently 50 messages/month, enforced server-side and shown live in the app) across two starter models — GPT-4o Mini and Gemini 1.5 Flash. Orbio Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play — planned at $9.99/month or $79.99/year per current product planning, though this is not yet live pricing (RevenueCat is not yet configured with real store products) — and unlocks unlimited messages, all 6 text models plus both image models, Compare mode, and Bring Your Own Keys. Exact prices and terms are set by the App Store/Play Store once configured and shown in the app before purchase.
